Police Simulator: Patrol Officers will be leaving the confines of its early access period on PC soon and heading to console, including Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

If you've worked your way through the Powerwash Simulator achievements and fancy stepping into the world of another job-focused game, then you might want to keep an eye on Police Simulator: Patrol Officers. We don't currently have any dates, but Astragon Entertainment has said it'll be leaving early access on PC soon, and will simultaneously roll out to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 with a retail price of £34.00/$39.99/€34.99.

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers console announcement trailer

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers drops you into the fictional city of Brighton on the US' East Coast, to fill the shoes of one of eight playable characters as they start their first shift as a rookie patrol officer. Progression through the game will see you move on from enforcing simple traffic rules and preventing littering to searching and arresting suspects for a multitude of crimes. Promotions will also see you outfitted with three additional police vehicles and the ability to take on more complicated tasks.

You'll have the ability to play alone or with a friend when patrolling the streets of three city districts comprising 15 neighbourhoods, and an 'Open Patrol' mode will allow your co-op partner to explore the city unrestricted.

Will you be looking forward to rocking a Brighton PD badge when Police Simulator: Patrol Officers launches? Let us know down in the comments — or not, as you do have the right to remain silent.
