Evil West delayed to November

Heidi Nicholas - August 16th 2022

Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment has announced a delay for upcoming action-adventure game Evil West, which has been pushed back a little to November.

The Evil West team has confirmed that the game has been pushed back from September 20th to November 22nd in order to give it more polish.

Evil West has been delayed

"We are working our very best to achieve our version of Evil West, and to meet your expectations," the team says on Twitter. "Evil West releases on five platforms, including multiple generations of consoles. Giving our game more polish is crucial to provide our players with not only good but also lasting memories. That's something that we've always pursued.

"To ensure that the game reaches its full potential, we have made the decision to delay the worldwide launch of Evil West to November 22nd, 2022," the announcement continues. "We understand that game delays may be frustrating, but it's a necessary step to deliver the best experience to everyone. Thank you again for your awesome support and dedication. It drives us forward and pushes us to create the weirdest, wildest western ride for all of you."

Evil West throws together Wild West lore with supernatural elements and has us playing as Jesse Rentier, who works for the organisation of monster hunters that's run by his father. If you'd like to see more of what that looks like, check out the latest Evil West gameplay trailer.

Evil West will now launch on November 22nd. Will you be picking it up on day one? Let us know in the comments!
