Moving Out 2 announced for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

Heidi Nicholas - August 23rd 2022

Moving Out 2 was just announced during Gamescom's Opening Night Live and arrives for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in 2023 as a sequel to 2020's couch co-op moving game.

Moving Out 2 has been given a 2023 release window, when it'll take us back to "the breakneck, breakback (and ‘break-knee’) world of Smooth Moves’ Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians (F.A.R.Ts). Check out the announcement trailer below:

Moving Out 2 launches in 2023

When Moving Out 2 arrives for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in 2023, it'll bring with it "online co-operative, cross-play enabled gameplay" and will take us beyond Packmore to entirely new worlds.

"Friends who move together, groove together! Whether you fancy some local co-op action or a cross-play online multiplayer session, we’ve got you signed, sealed and delivered," the devs explain. "Assist mode?! Check! A wide array of accessibility options?! Check! Loads of characters and countless finely tailored fits and skins for all you fashionistas?! Check! Check! Check... Via inter-dimensional portals you will explore new worlds filled with hilariously silly challenges and chaotic, rib-tickling action."

The first Moving Out game joined Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass as a surprise day-one addition — there's no mention of Xbox Game Pass so far for the sequel, but we'll keep an eye out for any other announcements. In the meantime, what do you think of Moving Out 2? Let us know in the comments!
