Ubisoft has announced two upcoming Assassin's Creed projects, codenamed Red and Hexe. Red will be the "next premium flagship title" and will take us to feudal Japan.

Feudal Japan has been a highly-requested setting for a future Assassin's Creed game, and it seems we'll finally get our wish when Assassin's Creed (codenamed Red) comes out.

Assassin's Creed Red will take us to feudal Japan

Ubisoft has confirmed we'll go to feudal Japan with its "next premium flagship title," codenamed Red. We don't know too much else about this game yet — Assassin's Creed Mirage seems much closer on the horizon — but we do know that Ubisoft has another mysterious project up its sleeve, codenamed Hexe. You can see brief snippets of these two projects in the video above.

Ubisoft also discussed Project Infinity; it's not a new game but a new platform described as a "single-entry point into the franchise" — a hub to "unite different experiences." The devs also say they're "investigating standalone multiplayer experiences."

So, Ubisoft has a lot of Assassin's Creed projects on the way — including the upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage — which are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments!
