Forza Horizon 5 teases new content, radio station, and more

Sean Carey - September 16th 2022

The Forza Horizon series celebrates its tenth anniversary in October, and developer Playground Games is marking the occasion by adding new content to Forza Horizon 5, including a new Horizon Story and a new radio station.

Playground Games will release the Horizon 10-Year Anniversary update for Forza Horizon 5 on October 11th, and the developer has teased some of the new additions coming with the update.

Forza Horizon 5 is finally getting a new radio station

With the update, we can expect a new Horizon Story that will explore "the origins of the Forza Horizon series," the return of "fan-favourite" music, which will be hosted on a new radio station, the return of Midnight Battles mode "where you can score cars by winning head-to-head races," and much more.

There will also be four weeks of anniversary-themed events and challenges on the Festival Playlist, highlighting each previous Forza Horizon game. Speaking of the Festival Playlist, a new Series has just started in the game, and if you're looking to unlock the tough Min, Meet Max achievement, we recommend checking out our weekly guide for the best cars and tunes for each event.

Unfortunately, we don't yet know if the new update will include any new Forza Horizon 5 achievements, though it's probably likely. Playground Games says it will be sharing more about the update soon.

Are you excited about this new update? If you've been playing Forza Horizon 5 since launch, you're probably very bored of the current radio stations — we sure are! Let us know what you think down in the comments.
